Athletics

Athletics as an extra-curricular activity is an integral part of our students’ education and growth at Vista Highlands School. Participating in athletics provides physical, emotional, and social growth while helping college prep students get to know each other in the spirit of friendly competition.
Vista Highlands School is committed to excellence in athletics as part of a larger commitment to excellence in education. The mission of Vista Highlands athletics is to provide an environment that supports the educational objectives, academic progress, and general welfare of student-athletes and allows them to engage in competitive athletic programs while promoting the principles of sportsmanship and ethical conduct.
Vista Highlands School offers both boys and girls team sports for students in middle and high school Grades 5-12. Our sports program is unique. Students have the opportunity to begin participating in a variety of sports beginning in Grade 5. Vista Highlands competes in the TAH-NEVA league in Middle School sports and is a member of the NIAA, the governing body for high school sports. In total, we offer 18 different team opportunities for student athletes.
Vista Highlands School athletic programs provide students who have the skills, commitment, time, and dedication the opportunity to participate at a competitive level. Athletes develop life skills that emphasize personal growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
